A real friend

Sam was my friend. Not the kind that we all have many of. Sam was my 'real' friend. The kind of friend that is rare. As long as I can remember Sammy was like family to me. At our hunting club we fondly called him 'the monster' because he was big. He was a gentle giant that had a kind heart and would do anything to be there for his friends. I have great memories of Sammy coming down the shore on weekends and us going fishing and he loved the big seafood dinners my parents would cook. Sammy always would do anything to help out and was always there for you when u needed him. When I was a kid I remember all our fun times we had hunting season. He was always real good to me and even though he was alot older we talked about everything and did alot together. He was a real good honest decent man. I will miss you ' monster' and will hold the memories we made real close to my heart. Goodbye my friend.
