Condolence: Frank was my godfather, and my father's best friend from childhood. He has been a dedicated godfather, calling me every birthday and Christmas, and making sure I knew he remembered even if I forgot. He brought me on many fun excursions just the two of us- one of which sticks out in my memory- we did a tour of mini golf locations down the Jersey shore and then ate dinner at an AC buffet. Frank loved his food. Especially dessert. I can't believe he is gone. I can only pray that he and my father are ribbing on each other in Heaven and watching some really good soccer together.

Condolence: Frank and I knew each other through the Daily News, the Philadelphia Sports Writers Assn. and hockey. We were in e-mail contact a few days before his passing, trying to arrange lunch. I knew I shouldn't bother him until the Penn Relays were over.
Frank was a unique person: so many interests, with opinions on almost everything. I still can't believe he's gone. Along the way, if we are lucky, we meet special people: Frank was one of those special people. RIP, my friend.

Condolence: Carla and I saddened on this day when I was watching Penn Relays highlights and mentioned you. Terribly ironic. Thinking back to that night in Buffalo when you work with LaSalle and we were trying to find that closet in the Aud where Fred Shero locked himself in. All those closets and none locked from the inside! Still don't know which one it was.
