Santo “Sal” Cerulli, devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather passed away suddenly on November 17th. Sal’s larger than life personality filled every room and his storytelling captivated all those he came in contact with. He truly was a family man, “there is nothing more important than family.” Sal would truly give the shirt off his back to whoever needed it, often putting his needs aside to help others. The way he spoke about and treated the love of his life Mary Ann is something that movies are written about. Sal’s two greatest accomplishments in life were his two kids, Michael and Diane. He spoke about how proud he was of who his children became. Sal instilled a passion for life in both of his children, giving them love and support in wherever life took them. And two years ago, his little granddaughter Emma stole his heart. She will forever be “Pop Pop’s good girl.” And we cannot speak about all those he loved without mentioning his granddog Winston, his favorite dog who brought him nothing but joy. Sal will never be forgotten and will always be cherished. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann (nee Miriello), sister Roseann Thomas (Bill), son Michael Cerulli (Laura), granddaughter Emma, daughter Diane Blenke (Anthony), granddog Winston, and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and prayer service on SATURDAY from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the PENNSYLVANIA BURIAL CO., INC., 1327-29 S. Broad St. Prayer service will follow viewing at 12:00pm. His interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to The Animal Welfare Association of New Jersey.
