Obituary for Salvatore M. Semola

Salvatore M. Semola “Sal” “Salvi” passed away on June 9, 2022.  Son of the late Alfonso and Martina (nee Lodrago).  Born and raised in South Philadelphia.  Beloved and Caring Husband of Teresa M. (nee Suarez) and Loving Father of Martin and Gerard. Sal was an active member of St. Philip Neri Parish, 218 Queen Street, and founding Board of Director of Queen Village Neighbors Association.  He assisted in the fundraising of “Stop I-95 Ramps” (to cut through residential streets) and initiated the first weekly pick up of recyclables in Queen Village.  He bought, sold, and traded antiques and had showcases in PA and NJ.  He was a “runner” for 3 law offices in Center City Philadelphia.  His Private Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA
