Obituary for Ronald Durante
Ronald Durante, 61, loving son of Rita Durante (Lelli) and Anthony Durante (deceased). Devoted father of daughter Ginamarie Durante. Greatly missed by Richard Durante, brother, former wife, Debbie, niece Madeline. Also survived by aunt, uncle, and cousins.
Ron was self-employed at a young age, owning one of the first video rental establishments in Philadelphia, South Philadelphia Video. He later was a partner in South Philadelphia Billiards; and enjoyed shooting pool with his friends. Ron was an accomplished poker player - best known for winning three 7- card -stud tournaments during his professional playing years. His dearest friends were lifelong, and he treasured those relationships. He was a great friend to many and a valuable employee at Pooltown where he will be missed.
