The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rita Sandefur can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Carol Scarpato Roberts
Condolence: I met Rita when i was 8 years old. That is 40 years ago. She never said a bad word about anyone. She told you how it was and she loved so many people as if they were her own. She cooked for me and my family. She helped me and my mom many time. She mad meatballs and she showed me how to make Gnocchi. She knew my fav. was eggplant parm and used to have it ready for me as i came to her home each day after high school. We would watch Guiding Light each day after school. I will never forget you Rita. You were and and will forever be like a mom to me. Rest in Peace Love Carol Scarpato Roberts
