PASQUALE "PAT" Oct 28, 2019
Pat was a beloved companion to
the late Florence Pawlowski
Rozycki for over sixty years
and stepfather to Lorraine
(Stephen) Gingo, who was his
devoted and tireless caregiver.
Pat was treasured "Poppy" to
Ryan Gingo. Dear son of his
predeceased parents, Alfonso
and Angelina, and brother to his
predeceased brothers Joseph
(Maria), John (Michelina) and
sister Mary (John) Falcone.
Survived by loving sisters Rose
(Armand) Ventura and Lucy
(Louis) Belcastro, and many
nieces and nephews.
Proud veteran of the U.S. Army
and valued manager at
Progress Lighting for many
years, where he also played
third base and shortstop for
their 1956 Industrial League
Championship team. Pat was a
fine bowler and retained his
superior billiard skills very late
into his life. When possible,
Pasquale was out in the fresh
air playing golf on city courses
and even traveled to Bermuda
and South Carolina as well. Pat
was an avid reader and loved
to pray and listen to oldies from
the 40's and 50's.
Pat was a sports enthusiast,
especially for his beloved
Phillies and Eagles and
championship boxing mesmerized
him. He was a Philadelphia
Athletics fan in his youth, but
he also dearly loved the NY
Yankees, including #5, Joe
DiMaggio. Pasquale owned and
played his own piano and was
passionate about improvisational
playing. His favorite singer
was Mario Lanza, who lived not
far from Pasquale's home in
Philadelphia during his youth.
Pat suffered from dementia the
last seventeen years of his life.
Tragically, it robbed him of the
memories of all short term
events, but it never quelled the
love of his dearly beloved
family. Pat taught us all how
very important relationships
are, and never failed to offer to
pick up the tab at a restaurant
with his family and friends.
Generous and gracious, Pat
always thanked those who
helped him in every area and
had respect for all.
Relatives and friends are
invited to his Viewing Friday
evening from 7-9 P.M. and
Saturday 8-9:30 A.M. at THE
S. Broad St., Phila. (Ample
Parking on Premises). Funeral
Mass will be celebrated at 10
A.M. at St. Edmond Church,
21st St. and Snyder Ave., Phila.
Interment Greenwood
Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave.,
Hamilton, NJ. In lieu of flowers
family request donations be made
in his memory to Holy Redeemer Hospice
2 S. Gold Dr., Suite B Hamilton, NJ
08691or an organization of
your choice to honor his life.

An Early

Posted at 08:50pm
Many happy memories of Pat , Florence and Cookie and myself riding the back roads to Wildwood. We thought we would never get there, but Pat always knew the way. Enjoyed his company and quiet happy presence. Pat and Florence were always a joy to visit. The very best friends a person could have.
