MaryAnn B. Ioia (nee Berenato), age 77, of North Wildwood, NJ, passed peacefully surrounded by family after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease on May 11, 2019.
Mary Ann was born on April 23, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Adeline Berenato (nee Palumbo). She and her husband, John L. Ioia celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on January 27th 2019. Mary Ann loved to be around family, and loved to dance.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann is predeceased by brothers Robert and Richard Raucci and sister Maria Berenato. Surviving are husband John L. Ioia, sister Marilyn Franklin (nee Berenato) and her husband Richard, Son John and wife Stacey, Daughter Stephanie and her husband Anthony Fusco; grandchildren, Alyssa, Abigail, and John W. Ioia, Furio and Gustavo Fusco, along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are invited to her Viewing THURSDAY Evening 7:00 to 9:00 and FRIDAY Morning 8:30 to 9:30 at the PENNSYLVANIA BURIAL CO., INC., 1327-29 S. Broad St. Funeral Mass FRIDAY 10:00am St. Richard’s Church, 3010 S. 18th St., Phila., PA 19145. Interment Private.
