Obituary for Luan T Huynh
Luan (Bruce) Huynh of Sewell, NJ passed away on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019. He was 45 years young. Luan was born on January 15th, 1974 in Vietnam to Sang Huynh and Mai Ly. He is the devoted husband of Lynn Dang, loving father to Nicholas (11), Andrew (9) and Olivia (1) and beloved brother of Toni (Ken) Jaravata, Le (Dave) Kohl, Linh Huynh and Minh Wong, and uncle to Ethan, Ella, Sofia, Matthew, Adam, Tyler, Brandon and Ryan. Luan is preceded in death by his father Sang Huynh.
Luan grew up in Philadelphia, PA and was a proud graduate of Central HS and Drexel University. He received his degree in Electrical Engineering in 1997 and has worked as a Test Director/Warfighter Directorate at U.S. Department of Defense for the past 17 years.
Luan was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, had a great appreciation for theatre and music, teaching himself how to play the piano. He also loved to travel and shared his love of travel with all his family and friends through his myriad of tips, recommendations and of course the pictures he loved to share. Luan truly saw the beauty in every sunrise and sunset, no matter where he was. Above all, he loved his family with all his heart and treasured his time with his wife, boys and his little princess Olivia, making sure they saw the world with the same appreciation he had.
Funeral services will be held at Baldi Funeral Home, 1331 S Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147. There will be visitation Thursday September 12th, 2019 from 5PM to 9PM and Buddhist Services on Friday September 13th, 2019 from 9AM to 10AM. Interment will follow at West Laurel Hill Cemetery located at 215 Belmont Ave, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
