Christine Dougherty Costello

I want to say how sorry and sad I am to my aunts and uncles I may not have had the chance to. I am Chrissy(Christine Dougherty Costello) Bill's daughter. My uncle Johnny was a great man and full of life. He was always caring and funny. I may not have hd the chance to see him that much as we would like to, but when you did see him, he was always making sure you are ok and say hello to my mom. It breaks my heart to have to say goodbye to first my grandmother{Dougherty) My grandmother was sweet and loving, she always smiled and hugged and kissed me, she didn't have much to give and that was ok, i rather have her love with her hugs and kisses because it was genuine and sincere, you saw the love and happiness in her eyes. Then Uncle Raymond, My dad, my cousins Bridget and Brian, so young and so full of life, I am so happy we had time together growing up. Now we had to say goodbye to Uncle Johnny, I wish i knew how close he was. We may not be perfect, who is, but we are family, we love, we fight but we stand strong for one another. I hope everyone shares memories or shares some words. It is nice to read and maybe smile or laugh. Life is too short, we can't hold grudges and we all know I am good for not forgiving and forgetting, but I have learned to be humble. So I want my family to know I am praying for everyone, I miss you all and it stinks that some of you are so far away. We need to celebrate our loved ones lives that have left us, We can find comfort in knowing that they no longer in pain. Look upon the happy times and know we are blessed to have one another, and I can not believe how many of us there are, between uncle Johnny's siblings and nieces and nephews and then the greats. It is really awesome. I think the last actual family function that i was with mostly all of the family was Matthew's graduation party.Stay strong and know that they all are together watching over us.
