Elizabeth L. “Betty” (nee Olenik) passed March 30, 2023. Devoted wife of the late Joseph. Beloved mother of Joseph (Lauren), Christine (Christopher) Philbrick and the late Thomas. Sister of Joe “Sonny” Olenik, Charles (Terri) Olenik and the late Susan Matta. Sister-in-law of David Matta. Loving grandmother of Jordan, Anna and Samuel Philbrick, Joseph and Christian Calise, Connor and Carli D’Angelis. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Betty graduated from Pennsylvania Hospital with a nursing degree and worked there for many years before her employment at Graduate Hospital. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and loved having coffee and tea with her friends. Her happiest moments were simply being surrounded by her family or having a cold beer with her mother and sister. She will be missed by all who new her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing TUESDAY 9 – 11AM BALDI FUNERAL HOME 1331 S.
