On October 5, 2022, Donna M. Valente (62) of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away at home surrounded by loving family and friends after her courageous battle  against cancer.  Born in Philadelphia, Donna was raised in Yeadon, PA, by  parents Edmund J. Valente and Gloria M. Valente (both deceased).

Donna was the Vice President of Sales at SPOL (Strategic Planning Online, LLC). She earned  a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, her father’s alma mater, and graduated cum laude.

Donna’s passion was animal rescue. She has saved and fostered hundreds of cats and was a fierce advocate in finding them forever homes.

Donna is survived and will be missed by her beloved sister Linda M. Valente-Rose (Joseph A. Rose); her fur babies Simba, Peanut, and Chestnut; many loyal and loving friends and family; as well as Glassboro’s feral cat population.

Her family will greet relatives and friends on FRIDAY morning from 9:00 to 10:00am at St. Rita of Cascia Church, Broad and Ellsworth Sts., Philadelphia.  Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am.  Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA
