"Little Boy, Litttle Boy!"

I met dear Anna and her loving son Tom at the Immaculate Mary Nursing home this past July when my dear mother Irene entered to stay for a short period. I heard of a woman who was 103 years old and as pleasant as plum! (: I needed to meet her! And I sure did..... I will never forget her sparkly blue eyes which held years of wisdom within them, her high pitched little voice, beautiful manicured hands that I just knew loved and labored her through this life, and a warm, smiling, countenance that made you feel so welcomed in her space. My 3 year old grandson just fell in love with her!! "Are we going to see Anna today?" He'd say every time we'd visit my own Mom. Anna seemed to also fall for him. Every time she'd see him she'd reach those beautiful hands outward and holler, "Little boy, Littlr boy!" My grandson would run up and give her a hug.(: how sweet she'd smile. If only she knew how happy she made that little boys day! Oh, sweet Anna! How I wish I had taken a picture of you and the little boy! But that image will remain in my mind forever. To Tom- You were such a devoted son to your Mother. You are the best legacy she could leave to this world. Your dedication inspired me to keep on keeping on with caring for my own Mom. MOMS ARE THE BEST ! To Anna's Family- to have a matriarch within the family for more than a century is a phenomenal blessing(: To all- may warm memories of Anna fill your heart and mind for a lifetime. To Anna- dear woman, may you see the face of a God! It was our pleasure having met you(: *. OAMDG. **
