Obituary for Alfonse A. Nataro

Alfonse Nataro, 73, of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022 after a hard fought battle with Lymphoma. Alfonse served in the Vietnam War and received multiple medals including the purple heart and bronze star medal, combat “V”. Alfonse was born on May 30, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA to his parents Natale and Catherine Nataro. Alfonse enjoyed spending time with family, especially the little ones, friends, going to the gym, walking “the lakes” and traveling with his beloved partner Kim. Alfonse was a kind and gentle soul; he was a friend to everyone he met.He is survived by his mother, Catherine Nataro; brother Carmen Nataro (Brenda); nieces, Cristin Ellis (Brandon), Brittany Nataro; nephews, Brandon Nataro, Dante Nataro; great nieces, Kora, Myla; stepdaughters, Yen Le (William), Huong Le, Trang Janick (Andrew), Thuy Nga Le; grandchildren, Ava Hitchcock, Jasmine Janick, Ethan Hitchcock, Sebastian Janick; aunt, Gloria Stefano; cousins, Steve Pagano (Mary Ann), Barbara Pagano (Alvin), Laura Stefano (Mike), Irene Dandrea (Dan), Judee Riedel (Glenn), Karen Ritchie (Joe), Iralee Bernard(Ken); second cousins, Justin, Lauren, Anthony, Christina, Jeff, Katie. Alfonse was predeceased by his father, Natale Nataro; his life partner, Kim Le; uncles, Michael Giuliano, Bob Stefano, Frank Pagano; aunt, Mary Pagano; and cousin, Anthony Pagano. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 10 - 12 Noon BALDI FUNERAL HOME 1331 S. Broad St. (Ample Parking on Premises) Prayer Service will begin at 12 Noon. Procession to Washington Crossing Veterans Cemetery  will leave Promptly at 8:30AM Thursday from broad and reed Streets. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to The Wounded Warrior Project.
